Meet the Teacher
I was born in Dallas and raised in Mesquite. I am an only child and I truly believe that I have the best parents in the world. I graduated in 1995 from Mesquite High School and then headed to Nacogdoches to attend Stephen F. Austin State University. While I was there, I was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority. I graduated from SFA in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. I left Nacogdoches and headed to Aggieland. I received my Masters degree in 2001 in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Reading. I began my teaching career in Mesquite ISD. I taught first grade at I.N. Range Elementary for six years. I love to travel and ski but most of all, I'm a huge football fan. Gig'em Aggies! I am so excited to be starting my 17th year here at Bradfield. It was such an honor to be Bradfield's 2017-2018 Teacher of the Year but most of all, I am so thrilled to be teaching your child this year.
