Mindy Walls, M.Ed.
Special Education Campus Coordinator
I have been the Bradfield Elementary Special Education Campus Coordinator since 2009. I have been in education for 20 plus years. Seventeen of those years have been in Richardson ISD working as a Special Education teacher and a Program Specialist supporting students, parents, and educational staff.
I actually graduated from HPHS as well, and attended University Park elementary. My two daughters went to Armstrong elementary graduating from HPHS and my son graduated from Richardson High School. I have seen many changes growing up in Highland Park and I am so happy to be working in this school district reconnecting with old friends and making new friends, too!
A unique committee in HPISD is the Special Education Parent Advisory Committee or SEPAC. They are committed to working in partnership with parents, the schools, and the district. You can visit the SEPAC page on HPISD website for more information. Bradfield's SEPAC representative is Kristina Whitcomb and our SEPAC representative for the Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities (PPCD) is Ashley Blurton. If you are seeking information from a parent perspective, please feel free to contact either one.
