About Me

Hi Everyone!

My name is Caroline Fischer, and I am thrilled to begin another year at Bradfield!

My desire is for all students to feel welcome, inspired, and comfortable to be themselves when they enter my room each day!

My career has taken me to several wonderful school districts in Texas where I have taught 3rd grade, 2nd grade, and been a Dyslexia Program Coordinator/Teacher. Even after many years of teaching, the start of a new school year is always exciting and never gets old.

I earned my undergraduate degree from Baylor University, and master’s degree in Dyslexia/Learning Therapy from Southern Methodist University. I am a member of the Academic Language Therapy Association and I am a CALT (Certified Academic Language Therapist.)

My favorite aspect about teaching has always been getting to know my students and their families and I am still in touch with many of my students even after all of these years!

No amount of glitter, spilled glue, sticky hands, discarded tissues or crumpled papers scares me. A classroom is where I feel most comfortable and it’s difficult to imagine being anything other than a teacher. You will be part of my family when the year is over and you won’t want to leave!

I can't wait to get to know all of you and begin making memories together!
