At the Tuesday, May 13 regular school board meeting, the Board of Trustees appointed the following individuals to serve as new board officers.

During the Tuesday, May 13 regular school board meeting, Highland Park ISD officially swore in trustees Bryce Benson, Ellen Lee, and Michael Denton to serve three-year terms. Benson (Place 3) and Lee (Place 5) were reelected in the May election, while Denton was elected as the new trustee for Place 4.

At the May 13 school board meeting, Highland Park ISD honored outgoing Trustee Jae Ellis for his six years of dedicated service and leadership. Ellis, a proud alumnus and longtime supporter of HPISD, was recognized for his unwavering commitment to students, staff, and the broader HP community.

Parents, the last day of school is Friday, May 23! Please note the early release times for each campus:

Elementary – 1:00 PM
MIS – 1:00 PM
HPMS – 12:00 PM
HPHS – 12:30 PM

The HPISD Board of Trustees announced at the April 22 School Board Meeting, its commitment to increase teacher and staff salaries by a minimum of 4 percent for the 2025-26 school year.

HP Family, a friendly reminder that all HPISD campuses and facilities will be closed March 10-14, 2025, for spring break. Classes will resume on Monday, March 17. We hope you have a fun and restful spring break!

Broncos, save the date for Meeting the Teacher from 5-6 p.m. Monday, August 12! Class lists will be posted on Skyward around 3 p.m. on this date.

The ABPA invites incoming kindergarten students to a Popsicle Party on Monday, August 12, following the Meet the Teacher event at the Small Bradfield Playground. We look forward to seeing you there!
